How to Make Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
Here are the ingredients you need to make this bacon wrapped asparagus recipe, plus step by step instructions for how to make it.
Ingredients
- 18 asparagus stalks
- 6 slices of bacon

Step by Step Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). While it heats, prep your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil. This makes cleanup a breeze and prevents sticking.
2. Give your asparagus stalks a quick rinse, then trim off the woody ends (about an inch from the bottom). Pat them dry with a paper towel so the bacon sticks better.
3. Bundle 3 asparagus spears together. Starting at one end, tightly wrap a slice of bacon around the middle of the bundle, slightly overlapping as you go. The bacon should hold everything together without needing toothpicks.

4. Place each wrapped bundle on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they’re spaced out so the bacon crisps evenly.

5. Transfer the tray to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is browned and slightly crisp, and the asparagus is tender but not mushy. If you like extra crispy bacon, you can turn on the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes. Just keep a close eye on it.
6. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple minutes. Then serve and enjoy, these are best eaten warm!

It’s funny how the simplest things are often the biggest hits. Every time I make these, they’re one of the first things gone – no matter the occasion. If you’re looking for something easy, tasty, and just a little impressive, bacon wrapped asparagus is it. Honestly, once you try it, you’ll probably end up making it on repeat like I do.
