How to Make Crescent Roll Pigs in a Blanket

Here are the ingredient you need to make these pigs in a blanket, plus step by step instructions for how to make them.

Ingredients

  • 24 Lil Smokies (I used Beef)
  • 8 oz tube crescent rolls

Step by Step Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.

 2. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface or cutting board. Gently separate the dough along the perforated lines to create 8 triangles. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut each triangle into 3, giving you a total of 24 pieces.

3. Place one Lil Smokie at the wider end of the triangle. Then roll the dough snugly around the sausage toward the pointed tip, forming a mini wrapped bundle. Repeat with the remaining dough and sausages.

4. Arrange all the wrapped smokies on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart so they have room to puff up and brown. Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for 12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and flaky.

5. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like mustard, ketchup, cheese sauce, or BBQ!
