How to Make Pepperoni Pizza Puffs
Here are the ingredients you need to make this pepperoni pizza puffs, plus step by step instructions for how to make them.
Ingredients
- 13.8 oz tube refrigerated pizza dough ( I used Pillsbury)
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ⅔ cup pizza sauce
- ½ cup mini pepperoni
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Step by Step Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 12-cavity muffin tin with non-stick spray or a bit of oil to prevent sticking. Set it aside while you prepare the dough.
2. Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough onto a clean surface. Using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter, divide the dough into 12 evenly-sized squares. Each piece will serve as the base for your pizza puffs.

3. Take one dough square and press it into a muffin tin cavity. Gently push the dough up the sides to form a cup, ensuring there’s enough room in the center for the fillings. Repeat this step with all 12 pieces of dough.

4. Sprinkle a small amount of shredded mozzarella cheese at the bottom of each dough cup. Next, spoon about 1 to 1 ½ teaspoons of pizza sauce over the cheese, spreading it evenly.

5. Layer a few mini pepperoni slices on top of the sauce. Add another layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top to seal in all the toppings.

6. Sprinkle each pizza puff with garlic powder and Italian seasoning to enhance the flavor. Add a couple more mini pepperoni slices on top for an extra pop of color and taste.

7. Place the muffin tin on the middle rack of your preheated oven. Bake for 14–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the dough is golden brown and fully cooked. Keep an eye on them to avoid overbaking.

8. Let the pizza puffs cool in the muffin tin for about 5 minutes before carefully removing them. Serve warm, and enjoy as an appetizer, snack, or party treat! These are best enjoyed fresh but can also be reheated if needed.

These pepperoni pizza puffs are simple to make but deliver big on flavor. Whether it’s game day, a family gathering, or just a snack craving, they’re the kind of recipe everyone loves. Give them a try and let me know how they turn out!
