How to Make Mango Pineapple Salsa

Here are the ingredients you need to make this pineapple and mango salsa, plus step by step instructions for how to make it.

Ingredients

  • ½ pineapple, peeled and diced
  • 1 mango, peeled and diced
  • 4 Roma tomatoes, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • ½ cup red onion, finely diced
  • 2 jalapenos, seeded and diced
  • 4 tablespoons lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Step by Step Instructions

1. Cut the pineapple in half, peel, core, and dice ½ of it into small bite-sized pieces.

2. Peel the mango, remove the pit, and dice the flesh into small cubes.

3. Rinse and finely dice the Roma tomatoes, removing seeds if desired to reduce excess moisture.

4. Chop the cilantro leaves until you have about 2 tablespoons.

5. Peel and finely dice ½ cup of red onion.

6. Slice the jalapenos in half, remove the seeds (for less heat), and finely dice. Use more or fewer jalapenos depending on your spice preference.

7. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pineapple, mango, tomatoes, cilantro, red onion, and jalapenos.

8. Add the lime juice, then sprinkle in the salt. Gently toss the mixture until everything is evenly coated.
