Cranberry Cheese Sausage Skewers – Easy Holiday Appetizer
I put these cranberry cheese sausage skewers together for a small get-together last December when I needed a quick holiday appetizer that wouldn’t keep me in the kitchen all day.
They ended up disappearing before anything else on the table. The mix of smoked sausage, white cheddar, and tart cranberry sauce just works, and they’re simple enough to assemble while chatting in the kitchen.

Here are the ingredients you need to make these cranberry cheese sausage skewers, plus step by step instructions for how to make them.
Ingredients
- 12 oz beef smoked sausage
- 8 oz white cheddar cheese block
- 15 oz can whole cranberry sauce
- Parsley

Step by Step Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
2. Cut the cheese into about 30 even cubes. Slice the sausage into 30 rounds. Chop the parsley and set it aside for garnish.

3. Place the sausage pieces on the baking sheet and bake for about 5 minutes, just until they warm through.

4. Remove the tray from the oven. Place a cube of cheese on top of each sausage round, then add one whole cranberry plus a small spoonful of cranberry sauce on top.
