2. Dice the onion and set aside.

3. Add the ground beef and diced onion to a large skillet. Season with salt and pepper, then cook over medium heat, breaking up the meat as it cooks, until the beef is fully browned. Drain off any excess grease.

4. While the beef cooks, cut the biscuits into quarters. Place them in a bowl and toss with 1 cup of the shredded cheese until evenly coated.

5. Add the sloppy joe sauce to the cooked beef mixture and stir until well combined. Gently fold in the biscuit and cheese mixture.
