Ingredients

  • Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • 50 white star sprinkles
  • Chorizo
  • Pepper Jack block cheese, cut into small cubes
  • Red pepper, sliced
  • Muenster block cheese, cut into small cubes
  • Raspberries
  • Mozzarella pearls
  • Pepperoni
  • Simple Mills rosemary & sea salt crackers
  • Cherries
  • Crunchmaster multi-seed crisps
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Traditional wedding cookies
  • Strawberries, quartered

Instructions

  • Line your serving platter with a sheet of parchment for easy cleanup. We used an 11x17 board and calculated how much space was needed for 13 rows of items. We then made a small tick mark on the parchment to indicate the rows.
  • Place a single layer of blackberries in the top left corner making a rectangle to cover approximately ¼ of the board.
  • Cover the empty spaces between the blackberries with a layer of blueberries and even out the edges to make them as straight as possible.
  • Begin filling in your rows of red items. You can certainly change it up, but our order from the top - chorizo folded over, sliced red pepper, raspberries, pepperoni folded over, cherries, cherry tomatoes, quartered strawberries. Use just enough to begin filling in the space, you can always go back in and add more later.
  • Next, fill in your white items. Again, you can change it up, but our order from the top - pepperjack cubes, muenster cubes, mozzarella cubes, rosemary crackers, multi-seed crisps and then wedding cookies. * Wedding cookies are covered in powdered sugar, so we liked the idea of them being next to the strawberries to complement each other.
  • If needed, adjust your items and fill in spaces with more items as you see fit.
  • Finally, sprinkle the stars over the blueberries and blackberries.

Notes

Ingredients can be any variety or combination of items. Substitute accordingly to achieve the red, white and blue theme. The quantity of items will depend on the size of your serving platter. Keep in mind the size of the items as well - that they can be cut to fit your board and/or get smaller items (crackers specifically, look for smaller varieties to fit your board best).
Storage:
Charcuterie board items are best stored separately.S tore in airtight containers. Fruit will last for 2-3 days, cheeses and meats 1-2 weeks and crackers 2-3 months.
