Ingredients

  • ½ loaf of baguette, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 oz brie cheese, cut into 25 small pieces
  • ¼ cup apple butter

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Slice the baguette into about 25 thin pieces and cut the brie into 25 small chunks.
  • Lay the bread slices on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Lightly brush the tops of each slice with olive oil.
  • Bake for 5-6 minutes, just until the bread starts to crisp around the edges. Remove from the oven.
  • Place one piece of brie on each toasted slice, then add a small spoonful of apple butter on top.
  • Return the tray to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the brie is softened and slightly melted.
  • Serve the crostini warm.
