Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing it into an even layer.
Sprinkle the reserved cheddar and Colby Jack cheese evenly over the top.
Drizzle a little extra buffalo sauce over the cheese for added flavor.
Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with diced green onions, and serve warm.
