- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, finely shredded
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1 tbsp Everything Bagel Seasoning
In a small mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients, stirring until everything is evenly blended. If the mixture feels too soft to shape, place it in the fridge for about 10–15 minutes to firm up slightly.
Scoop about a tablespoon of the cheese mixture and roll it between your palms to form a smooth, 1-inch ball. If the mixture is sticky, lightly dampen your hands with water or rub them with a bit of oil to make rolling easier. Place each ball on a platter or a parchment-lined tray. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
Cover the platter with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour. This helps the bites firm up and allows the flavors to meld together. If you’re prepping ahead, they can be chilled for several hours or even overnight.
When ready to serve, arrange the cheeseball bites on a serving tray. Pair them with crackers, pretzel sticks, or fresh veggies like celery and bell pepper slices. For a fun and easy way to serve, insert a pretzel stick or toothpick into each bite. Enjoy!
