Christmas Light Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • ● 12 cupcakes
  • ● 16 oz can vanilla frosting
  • ● 3 tbsp black decorating icing
  • ● 84-96 M&Ms

Instructions

  • Spoon the vanilla frosting into a piping bag fitted with a 1A tip. Starting at the center of each cupcake, pipe the frosting in a smooth spiral motion, working your way outward to create a nice even swirl.
  • Fill another piping bag with black decorating icing and fit it with a small round tip. Pipe a thin, curved line over the top of the frosting, looping it slightly to resemble a string of holiday lights.
  • Gently press 7-8 M&Ms along the black icing “string,” spacing them out to look like colorful bulbs. Continue until all cupcakes are decorated.
  • Serve and enjoy, or keep them in an airtight container until you’re ready to serve.
