Lavender Goat Cheese Spread

- 4 oz goat cheese, softened
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lavender
- 1 tsp olive oil
Place the culinary lavender buds in a mortar and pestle (or use the back of a spoon) and gently crush them to release their flavor. You want them broken down slightly, not powdered.
Add the softened goat cheese to a small mixing bowl. Stir in the crushed lavender along with the remaining ingredients. Mix until smooth and evenly combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Transfer the spread to a serving dish and smooth the top. Serve with crackers, toasted crostini, or slices of fresh bread.
