- 16 ounce cheddar cheese block
- 60 pita crackers
- 1/3 cup cream cheese spread or softened cream cheese
Slice the block of cheddar in half so you have two thinner slabs of cheese.
Cut each slab into small triangle shapes that will fit neatly on top of the pita crackers.
Arrange half of the crackers on a serving platter and place one cheese triangle on each cracker.
Take the remaining crackers and cut them in half. Trim off and discard the pointed ends so they resemble straight crust edges.
Spoon the cream cheese into a piping bag fitted with a small star tip. Pipe a thin line of cream cheese along the bottom edge of each trimmed cracker half, then gently press it onto the back of each cheese triangle to create the look of a pie crust.
For a more perfect look, pipe a small dollop of cream cheese on top of each triangle to mimic whipped cream.
