Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon or spatula as it browns. Cook until there’s no pink left, about 6-8 minutes. Drain off any excess grease.
Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the canned Manwich (or your favorite sloppy joe sauce). Let the mixture simmer gently for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. This helps the flavors come together and thickens the sauce slightly.
While the meat is simmering, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally using a serrated knife. Try to keep both halves intact as one slab - it’ll make assembling easier.
Place the bottom half of the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.
Spoon the sloppy joe mixture evenly across the rolls. Make sure to spread it out all the way to the edges so every bite is full of flavor.
Layer the cheddar cheese slices over the meat mixture, overlapping slightly if needed to cover all the sliders.
Carefully place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer to close the sliders.
In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter (about 30-45 seconds). Stir in the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth and fully combined.
Use a pastry brush or spoon to generously coat the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture, letting it soak into the bread a bit.
Sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over the buttered tops for a little texture and a classic slider look.
Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
Remove from the oven and let the sliders rest for about 5 minutes. This helps them set slightly and makes cutting easier.
Transfer the sliders to a cutting board, garnish with chopped parsley if you’d like a fresh pop of color.
Slice along the roll seams to separate into individual sliders. Serve warm and enjoy every bite!
